NICOLEHOLLIS for McGuire represents an intrepid collection, remaining authentic to McGuire while incorporating daring flare. Channeling far away travels and taking cues from top fashion houses, each piece is handcrafted with a careful combination of classic and unusual techniques. The boundary-breaking collection presents materials used in new ways, including McGuire’s signature Danish cord, raw oak, rattan, and woven lampakanay, plus natural leathers along with beaded and fringe finishes. NICOLEHOLLIS for McGuire honors traditional forms while celebrating materialistic imperfections to create everchanging ebonized, matte black and natural finishes and a revival of McGuire’s use of leather and various woven textures.

"We are proud and excited to collaborate with a like-minded brand to develop our first furniture collection,” said Hollis. “Ultimately, we sought to create pieces that pay homage to McGuire’s timeless sense of everyday luxury and seamlessly offer a lively perspective on modern furnishings. Reminiscent of NICOLEHOLLIS’ holistic approach to the art of living, the collection works to conceive interiors that elevate the human spirit. It’s fresh and unexpected, without compromising classic design elements."

The collection encompasses a cohesive variety of chairs, tables, benches, ottomans, stools, and accessories. Product highlights include:

  • Melek Accent Chair – The Melek Accent Chair draws inspiration from the Arabic figure Melek Taus, a peacock angel with divine power. Intricate and handmade, this piece includes woven rattan splits and a black leather seat pad. The frame is available in matte black or matte dusk.
  • Hoku Mirror – The Hoku Mirror is a modern piece with Hawaiian soul. Named after the Hawaiian word for “night of the full moon,” this imperfectly-oval mirror is made from woven lampakanay.
  • Rollick Rocking Chair – Exuberant and lively, the Rollick Rocking Chair wears its name proudly. This piece is a balance of rattan framing and hand-woven Danish cord latticework, appearing both foundational and playful. Available in matte black or matte dusk.
  • The Exalt Host Chair – The Exalt Host Chair has an elevated sense of style inspired by couture fashion and textiles. This high-backed chair is crafted with a rattan and woven frame and rawhide bindings. Available in matte black or dusk.
  • Querini Bench – The Querini Bench blends McGuire craftsmanship with the NICOLEHOLLIS design philosophy. Inspired by the architectural lines of Venice’s Palazzo Querini Stampalia, this bench is thoughtfully made from brass, marble and natural or ebonized oak. Available in lengths of 48” or 100”.
  • Haylan Spot Table – Inspired by the ceremonial cairns unearthed in Haylan, Somalia, the Haylan Spot Table features honed marble and layered geometric shapes in a design that takes its cues from these ancient creations.
